This sculpture comes from a failed painting, improvised, without drafts, and painted directly on cardboard. It comes from my pictorial imagination of Chinese characters. The word was placed in a drawer next to a box of oatmeal with a picture of the man in the advertisement. After finishing this painting, I was not satisfied with the image of the flat state, so I created this three-dimensional work using quick-drying clay. The whole process made me feel relaxed, and the brush would go around or through its body as I painted it, and I began to think about the relationship between painting and space.
